Luggage tag

This luggage tag, stamped Canada on both sides, is crafted by Bastien’s Indigenous artisans using moose hide left over from the creation of their authentic Wendat Moccasins. The moose hide is obtained from the Tannery des Ruisseaux in Québec, which works with Eastern Canadian game butchers to ensure the hides of animals raised or hunted for food are not wasted. In accordance with Indigenous sustainable values, all parts of a harvested animal must be used and respected. Through this unique agreement with the Tannery des Ruisseaux, Bastien prevents thousands of moose raw hides from being thrown away. Read more about Bastien’s story here.
